The Hiawatha Chamber and Convention and Visitors Bureau Welcomes you to Hiawatha, the City of Beautiful Maples. We have several must-see attractions, such as the Davis Memorial, the Brown County Historical Society Memorial Auditorium Museum and the Brown County Historical Society Ag Museum. Hiawatha is the boyhood home of children’s author Bill Martin, Jr., recognized for such books as Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
The Maple Leaf Festival and the Halloween Frolic are the biggest events of the year. We hope you enjoy your stay in Hiawatha.
